Once upon along time ago there were two people who loved to ride motorcycles. It was in 1984 when Don and Barb Gimbel joined a group of Goldwing riders named GWRRA (Gold Wing Road Riders Association) Don was asked to be the assistant State Director and it was in that capacity that he was asked to help start a chapter in Salem. He approached two different men bout the possibility of being the Chapter Director (or Area Reps as they were called then) for this group. Neither took him up on it so Barb and Don decided they would do it to get things going. The Chapter was established in 1985. The group started growing and to the best recollection of Don, Jim and Helen Wall the following is a list of Chapter G Directors.
